Your AI tool will not be able to manage the site from the guide link alone. It also needs the site URL, username, and application password for the site you want it to edit.

How to create a WordPress application password

Go to Users.
Hover over your user profile and click Edit.
Scroll down to New Application Password Name.
Enter a name for your application password, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
Click Add Application Password.

WordPress may display the application password with spaces. That is okay. Your AI tool may remove the spaces when it uses the password.

Before you start

The industry term helps decide the services, images, and general site structure used across the generated rows, so the whole batch should usually be for one business type.

Your CSV should include the business names you want to generate sites for. Other fields can help prefill each generated site, including phone, email, address, logourl, and primarycolor.

How to create the batch

Open the 1ClickWebsite dashboard.
Go to Lead Gen.
Click New Batch.
Enter the industry term for the batch.
Upload your CSV file.
Review the leads and credit usage.

Before you start

Only use this after the site has already been migrated and the new domain is live or ready to use.

You should enter the domain where the migrated WordPress site now lives. For example, enter yourdomain.com without https:// because the dashboard already adds the https:// prefix.

How to update the migrated domain

Open your 1ClickWebsite dashboard.
Open the website details page for the site that was migrated.
Click Update it here next to Migrated to a different domain?
Enter the new domain for the migrated site.
Click Update.
Open the Website Agent for that site.

Using the Website Agent after updating the domain

Once the migrated domain is saved, the Website Agent can be used from the site-specific Agent page.

Choose the migrated site in the Website dropdown, then ask for the edit you want, such as changing text, updating colors, editing navigation, or adding a service page.

Before you start

You should have WordPress admin access for the site you are moving and admin access for the destination WordPress install.

It is also a good idea to take a backup before starting any migration. If your domain is already live, plan the DNS switch carefully so the site does not point to the new host until the migrated site is ready.

How to add a new CMS item
