# How to Use the Website Agent With a Migrated Site

Use this guide after migrating a 1ClickWebsite site to a different domain or hosting provider.

## Before you start

Only use this after the site has already been migrated and the new domain is live or ready to use.

You should enter the domain where the migrated WordPress site now lives. For example, enter yourdomain.com without https:// because the dashboard already adds the https:// prefix.

## How to update the migrated domain

### 1. Open your dashboard

Go to the [1ClickWebsite dashboard](https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/dashboard).

### 2. Select the migrated site

Open the website details page for the site you migrated.

### 3. Edit the domain

Click **Update it here** next to **Migrated to a different domain?**

### 4. Save the new domain

Enter the domain where the migrated WordPress site now lives, then click **Update**. Enter it without `https://` because the dashboard already provides that prefix.

### 5. Open the Website Agent

Open the site-specific **Agent** page and select the migrated site in the **Website** dropdown.

## Using the Website Agent after updating the domain

Once the migrated domain is saved, the Website Agent can be used from the site-specific Agent page.

Choose the migrated site in the Website dropdown, then ask for the edit you want, such as changing text, updating colors, editing navigation, or adding a service page.

## Notes

This does not migrate the WordPress site by itself. It only updates 1ClickWebsite so the dashboard and Website Agent know the site's current domain.

If the migrated site is not loading, WordPress admin is not accessible, or DNS is not pointed correctly, contact support or your hosting provider so the specific setup can be reviewed.
