# How to Create and Customize a Lead Gen Batch

Use Lead Gen batches when you want to generate mini sites for a list of businesses from a CSV.

## Before you start

Use one industry term for the whole batch, such as plumber, roofer, med spa, dentist, HVAC, or landscaper.

The industry term helps decide the services, images, and general site structure used across the generated rows, so the whole batch should usually be for one business type.

Your CSV should include the business names you want to generate sites for. Other fields can help prefill each generated site, including phone, email, address, logo_url, and primary_color.

## How to create the batch

### 1. Open your dashboard

Go to the [1ClickWebsite dashboard](https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/dashboard).

### 2. Open Lead Gen

Click **Lead Gen** in the sidebar.

### 3. Start a new batch

Click **New Batch**.

### 4. Choose the industry

Enter the industry for the whole batch, such as `Plumber`. Review the selected batch template.

### 5. Upload your CSV

Drag your CSV into the upload area, or click the area to choose the file.

### 6. Continue to the review

Click **Continue**.

### 7. Review and start the batch

Check the leads, field values, and credit usage. When everything looks correct, click **Start Batch**.

### 8. View batch progress

Click **View Batch** to see the generated rows.

### 9. Refresh the status

Click **Refresh** to update the processing status. Some rows may finish before others.

## How to customize a generated row

### 10. Open a completed row’s settings

Once a row is completed, click **Settings** for that row.

### 11. Customize the site details

Update the business name, phone, email, address, logo URL, primary color, or background mode. The screenshot shows an example primary color; choose the color you want for this business.

### 12. Save the row

Click **Save** after making changes.

## How to review and export results

### 13. Review the generated site

Click the external link icon on a completed row to open and review its mini site.

Use **Export CSV** to download the batch results.

## Important notes

Lead Gen batches create one mini site per row in the CSV. It is normal for some rows to finish before others while the batch is still running.

If a batch fails, credits are charged incorrectly, or a generated site is broken, contact support. Those cases need account or site-specific review.
